After weeks of preparation on a windy Saturday afternoon the Dainere’s Rainbow Team were so grateful to be able to have a Stall at the Holy Spirit Christmas Fete.

Armed with sand weights to hold down the marquee, we set up the Stall with the many unique and beautiful items we had. Special mention must go to the incredibly talented Patricia, and Alba who had taken the time to make the most amazing art, craft and Christmas gift items for the stall.  Massive gratitude to Bron, Matilda and family for their many contributions of lovely gift items.

We also had Dainere’s Rainbow Merchandise Items available on the stall and our awareness material for people to learn more about paediatric brain tumours and the vital work of Dainere’s Rainbow in the Community.

The Stalls were all set around the outside of the oval allowing visitors to enjoy and easily access the wide variety of stalls present on the day, We were able to speak to many people throughout the afternoon and evening and many people purchased items for their workplace Secret Santa gifts.

It is always so special to see the smiles on people’s faces knowing they have supported a charity that give 100% of all funds raised directly to where it is needed most and that they can be assured will make a difference.

We are so honoured and proud to announce that $222.50 was raised on the day, which is a phenomenal result for a Fete Stall, and we were also able to elevate new awareness on the day and that is priceless.

We would like to express gratitude to Bernadette for encouraging and giving Dainere’s Rainbow the opportunity to have a stall at the Fete and also for her mammoth effort in organising the Fete.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we meet and work, the Ngunnawal people, and the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Australia who have now made Canberra their home. We celebrate and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of the ACT and region.
