The Dainere’s Rainbow Team held a very special Garage Sale on the weekend of 29th and 30th March. It wasn’t the best weekend to have chosen for the sale as we had an extremely wet and windy Saturday and Sunday. However, there were people that braved the tumultuous conditions and were fortunate enough to find that the Dainere’s Rainbow Garage Sale really did have something for everyone.
We were able to raise a grand total of $84.95, this is a magnificent result as every single dollar of this is already working to help bring hope and create change for children in Canberra diagnosed with brain cancer through the world class research projects and programs that we support in memory of and as a legacy to our beloved Dainere.
With our most heartfelt and humble gratitude to Monique and Mark, Dianne, Nalani and family and Jarrett who all had a light of human kindness shining brightly through the items they donated to the sale.
Having the sale and reading through Dainere’s significant and meaningful pages of notes for us, it was a dream of hers to have a special regular stall, to raise funds for childhood brain cancer research so no children into the future would have to suffer as she and others have and that improved treatment options with less devastating side effects could be found and one day a cure become a reality so no child would ever lose their life to brain cancer.
Dainere we are working on a very special project to honour this selfless and incredible vision of a regular stall for you.
