Meet Our SCHF Community Engagement Relationship Manager


My name is Cara and I am a Community Engagement Relationship Manager at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. I have the absolute privilege of working closely with passionate community fundraisers who are helping change the future for sick kids. One of the most inspiring groups I’ve had the pleasure of working with is Dainere’s Rainbow, whose unwavering commitment to supporting brain tumour research is nothing short of extraordinary.

Their support of Professor Ziegler and the dedicated team at the Kids Cancer Centre has helped accelerate vital research that is improving outcomes and offering new hope to children and families impacted by brain cancer. Dainere’s Rainbow continues to honour Dainere’s legacy with compassion, determination and generosity, and I’m proud to stand alongside them in their mission to create a brighter future for every child.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we meet and work, the Ngunnawal people, and the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Australia who have now made Canberra their home. We celebrate and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of the ACT and region.
