Dainere’s Rainbow Winners of Grill’d Gungahlin Local Matters for June

With Gratitude to Grill’d Gungahlin and Our Supportive Community.

Dainere’s Rainbow was truly humbled and honoured to be selected by Grill’d Gungahlin as part of their inspiring Local Matters Program—a generous initiative that gives back to grassroots organisations and community causes right across Australia.

Each month, Grill’d restaurants divide a $500 donation between three local groups making a difference in their communities. Customers receive a token with every burger purchased, which they can place in the jar of the group they wish to support. It’s a simple gesture, but one that has a powerful impact.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of those who dined at Grill’d Gungahlin and placed their token in the Dainere’s Rainbow jar, we were honoured to receive the most tokens and, in turn, the highest donation for the month.

We remain deeply and endlessly grateful—not only to Grill’d Gungahlin for their long-standing and heartfelt support, but also to every person who took a moment to support us with their token. It is because of your kindness and belief in our mission that we can continue to bring the precious gift of hope, awareness, and support to children diagnosed with brain cancer and their families in Canberra and around Australia.

From all of us at Dainere’s Rainbow, thank you for helping us make a difference—one token, one meal, one act of kindness at a time.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we meet and work, the Ngunnawal people, and the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Australia who have now made Canberra their home. We celebrate and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of the ACT and region.
