“Beck and her creative team have staged Mel Brooks’s musical to lift the spirits, split your sides with laughter and heartily applaud the remarkable musical theatre talent in Canberra.”

As so many people are saying – this show isn’t to be missed! (The Canberra Times)

Presented by Dramatic Productions as part of their Dramatic Difference Initiative to give back to Community organisations and charities. For each ticket sold to the show Dramatic Productions give back 10% to the chosen Charities. This initiative is supported with matched donations by the incredible Team from Masonicare.

From the Founder of Dramatic Productions and Producer of ‘The Producers’ Mr Richard Block.

“It is with great delight that we announce we have raised a record $15,921.00 for charities from our production of ‘The Producers!’”

This classic, hilariously eccentric story of conflict, greed, romance and fraud starred the extremely remarkable Daryl Somers, who is one of Australia’s most beloved TV personalities and was Directed by none other than Rachael Beck who starred alongside Todd McKenney as Charity Barnum in ‘Barnum, The Circus Musical’.  Add an immensely talented cast of local performers, top class orchestra and choreography, this show was a masterpiece.

The show on 17th October supported Dainere’s Rainbow and we would like to take this opportunity to express our most humble and heartfelt gratitude to incredible Richard, Bernie and team from Dramatic Productions and Masonicare for their extraordinary support of local community and charity groups.  These people are beyond amazing!

With special mention and gratitude to all those who attended the Dainere’s Rainbow Evening, it is you who give so much back to the performers through your reactions and applause and what a truly responsive audience came along on the evening; the performers were ecstatic about your interaction and support.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we meet and work, the Ngunnawal people, and the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Australia who have now made Canberra their home. We celebrate and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of the ACT and region.
